Jaime Umphenour has been surrounded by the arts of Home Economics for her entire life! Her mother was a custom wedding gown designer and seamstress, then growing into a full service event planning company. Jaime worked through school in restaurants and in several clothing and bridal stores as an alterationist, merchandiser, then manager. She has spent the last 24 years being invited into the kitchens of the Central Coast to teach her guests how to cook for their families using amazing cooking tools she sells for The Pampered Chef and 6 years as a Radio Talk Show Host. She founded Home Ec Express in 2013 providing classes as well as cooking and sewing services- filling the gap created by the loss of Home Economics/Life Skills in the educational system. Jaime has coordinated MANY weddings, fundraising and special events, along with a background in costumes and front of the house work in theatre. She has taught adults and youth for decades to find the JOY of being creative and self-sufficient through private and group classes.

Jaime has also completed her Master Financial Coaching Certification to help families and individuals walk toward financial freedom by teaching budgeting, debt payoff, and preparing financially for the future.

. As of October 2022, Jaime has relocated to Owasso, OK. She is the proud mother of two beautiful and funny adult daughters, her sweet son-in-law and she is Abuela to her precious granddaughter born in September 2023!
